For me, portrait photography isn’t simply about capturing someone’s appearance. It’s about understanding the person standing in front of my camera.
Everyone carries a story shaped by their experiences, emotions, and the little things that make them who they are. Sometimes that story appears in a smile, a quiet expression, or a moment when someone forgets the camera is even there.
I don’t believe a portrait needs to be perfect to be beautiful. I want people to feel comfortable being themselves, without worrying about finding the perfect pose or expression.
My approach is simple: connect with the person, understand their story, and let the moment unfold naturally. Because sometimes, the most meaningful photograph is the one we never planned.
